After 'Mary Kom,' Priyanka ready to take on 'Madamji'

Mumbai, Sep 12: 'Mary Kom' star Priyanka Chopra says the team of her debut film production 'Madamji' is currently giving finishing touches to its script and finalising its cast. She is glad Madhur Bhandarkar is on board to direct the project as she trusts him immensely.

"We are working on final stage of scripting and casting of 'Madamji'. The casting is yet to be decided. So, we won't start before November," Priyanka said.

Priyanka will herself star in 'Madamji', but as one understands, the rest of the cast is yet to be locked.

She last worked with Bhandarkar in 'Fashion', which won her a best actress National Film Award. She says they "get along really well and have gelled very well creatively".

"I'm really grateful Madhur agreed to be my first director in my first production venture. We tried to work in some other films as well, but unfortunately that didn't happen. I completely trust Madhur," she said.

Sonam Kapoor's 'oh my god!' moment with Salman Khan

Mumbai, Sep 05:  ‘Oh my god’, exclaimed Sonam Kapoor when she was offered a chance to romance Salman Khan in the forthcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.

She says it was also a bit weird to work with director Sooraj Barjatya and Salman, whose romantic sagas she was hooked on to while growing up.

"Working with Soorajji and Salman is like the weirdest thing because I have grown up watching Prem (Salman's character) and it's like, 'Oh my god! Prem is romancing me.'," Sonam said.

"I have grown up with his films like 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!' and 'Maine Pyar Kiya', and it's just like an 'Oh my god moment!'. So I had to pinch myself at times," she added.

However, this is not her first film with the 48-year-old superstar. The 29-year-old romanced him in her debut film ‘Saawariya’.

Talking about working with Salman yet again, she said: "We have finished our first schedule. It's been seven years since I worked with him...I have known him all my life, but he is amazing. He is a professional; he has got the highest amount of IQ."

"I have never seen him being nasty to anyone or rude to anybody. He has immense respect for women and he is extremely hardworking. He is always on time, always improvising. He is one of the best actors I have ever worked with. He is always trying to do something different."

Alia Bhatt wants 'serial-kisser tag' to stay in family

Mumbai, Aug 20: We all know that Alia Bhatt has taken away the serial kisser tag form her cousin Emraan Hashmi, and the girl is pretty happy about it.

In fact, she hopes the tag stays in the family.

Alia BhattAlia Bhatt with Arjun Kapoor in 2 States

Talking to a leading daily, the Chirpy actress said, "I just hope it (the 'serial kisser' tag) remains in the family (smiles). Plus, I feel the country loves watching Emraan kiss. A kiss, like a hug, is a simple and romantic gesture (in movies). But there's no romance that goes into kissing on the big screen. It's very mechanical."

Confessing that she is nowhere close to Emraan's laurels, she said it is difficult to take away the title from him.

"I think Emraan made a very interesting comment recently when he said that I will need a long time to do that. He also said that I will have to work much harder (smiles). And I believe what he said; even I feel that you can't take that title away from him so easily."

For the record, Alia has kissed three out of four co-stars in her four-film old career.
