Alia Bhatt wants 'serial-kisser tag' to stay in family

Mumbai, Aug 20: We all know that Alia Bhatt has taken away the serial kisser tag form her cousin Emraan Hashmi, and the girl is pretty happy about it.

In fact, she hopes the tag stays in the family.

Alia BhattAlia Bhatt with Arjun Kapoor in 2 States

Talking to a leading daily, the Chirpy actress said, "I just hope it (the 'serial kisser' tag) remains in the family (smiles). Plus, I feel the country loves watching Emraan kiss. A kiss, like a hug, is a simple and romantic gesture (in movies). But there's no romance that goes into kissing on the big screen. It's very mechanical."

Confessing that she is nowhere close to Emraan's laurels, she said it is difficult to take away the title from him.

"I think Emraan made a very interesting comment recently when he said that I will need a long time to do that. He also said that I will have to work much harder (smiles). And I believe what he said; even I feel that you can't take that title away from him so easily."

For the record, Alia has kissed three out of four co-stars in her four-film old career.

In one of the recent interviews, Humaima revealed that she had dated one Pakistani fast bowler in the past. The statement was enough to keep the gossip mills churning and it soon came out that the fast bowler was none other than the very famous ex-cricketer and politician Wasim Akram.

On probing further she revealed that she had dated Wasim Akram at the age of 23, while he was 45. Although she also clarified that their age difference was never an issue in their relationship, her affair with the ‘King of Swing’ was rather short lived.

Humaima also said that the two were still friends and there is no animosity between them.

“I don't know from where these reports came…we were always friends and we are still friends. He is married and a father and I respect him,” said Humaima.

Another interesting fact about the sultry actress’s life is that she is divorcee. Yes, the diva was once married at the tender age of 18, but the marriage soon ended in a divorce.

Humaima claims that her family knows everything about her life and if she dates anyone she will come out loud and clear about it.

Malick, who’s born in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan made her Bollywood debut in Shoaib Mansoor’s critically acclaimed movie 'Bol' alongside singer and actor Atif Aslam.

Humaima has already impressed her Indian fans with her sizzling looks and captivating features. She will soon be seen romancing Emraan Hashmi in Kunal Deshmukh’s Raja Natwarlal.

Produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, the crime comedy film is expected to release on August 29.

Mumbai: My wedding? Ask me after 10 years: Esha Gupta

Mumbai, Aug 11:  She made for a beautiful contemporary looking bride when she walked the BMW India Bridal Fashion Week (IBFW) ramp here for designer Jyotsna Tiwari, but in real life, "Raaz 3" actress Esha Gupta still needs a decade to decide when she'll get married.

The model-turned-actress was in the capital Sunday night, and when asked about her wedding plans, the 28-year-old said: "Oh my god! Ask me about ten years from now. Get my elder sister married before me." Esha loved the contemporary yet traditional voluminous gown that she wore as the showstopper but what would she want to wear for her own wedding day? "Well, I'll be able to know it ten years down the line. I like this creation by Jyotsna and something like this could definitely work for one of the functions, but for my wedding day, it will be traditional Indian," she said. The actress, who is looking forward to working in an Indo-British production, did her share of work as a model in the capital before making it big in the film world. Returning to the ramp in Delhi and that too as a showstopper turned out to be "special" for Esha. "I'm thankful that Jyotsna took me as her showstopper. I look different and feel beautiful," said the actress, who was glad to be presented in a "not sexy, but sweet, young and innocent" look.

Mumbai: Arjun Kapoor wants to do a patriotic film

Mumbai, Aug 9: The 29-year-old actor made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with 'Ishaqzaade' and went on to star in films like 'Aurangzeb', 'Gunday' and '2 States'.

The actor will be next seen in Homi Adjania's satirical drama 'Finding Fanny', which will hit theatres on September 12.
